Microsoft DreamSpace

Today, to celebrate International Girls in ICT Day, the girls received an introduction to coding through a Microsoft DreamSpace online event. They heard an interview with Jess Kelly, a technology correspondent for Newstalk, and also learned about algorithms, sequences and conditional statements. Finally, they also had a chance to trial making code for microbits via makecode.microbit.org
