20th October was another first for the girls of 6th class when they hosted the inaugural Maths Week Games Day. Every class from Cuan na
Realtaí up to fifth class attended. The girls arrived with an eagerness, enthusiasm and excited to see what the girls from 6th had set up for them.
Activities ranged from Snakes and Ladders, bottle cap sorting, making patterns on Geoboards, ring toss competition, to making 3D shapes with magnetic tiles.
Afterwards, shouts of 'We love maths' could be heard and pleas of 'can we stay longer?'
Praise was widespread for the pupils of 6th class who showed huge responsibility and superb social skills. All their teachers are so proud of all their hard work. Well done girls and keep it up!!
