Making Inks

Inspired by tales of the Terracotta Warriors found in China, the girls in Fourth Class experimented with making their own inks from natural materials. They then used these to create their own paintings. The lesson linked with their TAP (Teacher and Artist Partnership) lessons with artist Cathy Fitzmaurice and how natural materials can be used to inspire a variety of creative artistic processes and prints.
