Learning About the Bramble and Blackberry Picking

Updated: Aug 24

This week in Science, 6th Class learned all about the bramble and its importance in nature. The girls discovered how the bramble plays a crucial role in supporting wildlife.

From providing shelter for birds and small mammals to offering a valuable food source for a variety of animals, the bramble is a vital part of the ecosystem.

After learning about its significance, the girls were eager to get out and pick some blackberries. They had lots of fun picking the ripest berries they could find and were delighted with the fruits of their labour!
