Christmas jumper day
Merry Christmas!


Junior Infant Nativity
Well done to Junior Infants on their fantastic performance of The Nativity.


Playtime: Santa's Workshop
We had lots of fun being elves, reindeer and Santa. We built toys, packed toys into Santa's sack and delivered toys.


Christmas themed morning activities
We enjoyed our Christmas themed morning activities.


Maths: Length
We talked about which items were longer/ shorter/ taller. We measured the length of objects using cubes/ blocks/ links/ lollipop sticks etc.


Penguin art
We have been working hard on our cutting skills. We did great cutting of our penguins.


Christmas cards
Mrs Roulstone's 6th Class pictured with Garda Deirdre Semple. The girls made Christmas cards for some of the elderly residents in our community and Garda Semple will deliver them. A lovely way to spread some Christmas cheer!


School Library
We love our Friday visits to the school library.


Playtime: Doctors/ Vets
We were busy doing check-ups, giving injections, giving medicine and performing surgeries.


Science Week
We did some experiments for Science Week.


GAA🏐
We are having lots of fun during our GAA sessions 😀


Fractions
Great work on fractions today.


Halloween
We have loved doing Halloween activities the last two weeks. We made pumpkins and bats in art. Our theme for playtime was The Witch's Kitchen. We did Halloween themed morning activities. We learnt Halloween songs and a poem. Our favourite was dress up day. We had a costume parade and Halloween disco.


First Class Autumn Term.
We have had a very busy first term! We had an autumn scavenger hunt, looking for signs of autumn in the school grounds. We had an amazing time during Maths week, using lots of resources, having a Maths Hat parade and taking part in a Maths Trail, helped by Sixth Class. We all dressed up for Halloween and had a Spooks Parade in the gym. We said thanks to the Literacy Lift Off Team who gave us such a great start. with their team teaching.


Maths Week
Maths Week was lots of fun. We played maths games, did a maths quiz webinar and guessed how many sweets were in the jar. 6th Class brought us on a 2d shape trail in the yard. We showed our maths hats in the maths hat parade in the hall on Friday.

Maths Week 2025 ➕️➖️➗️
We had a busy Maths Week. We were learning about fractions in our class lessons and designed Maths Hats for our parade on Friday. We had lots of fun with 6th Class on Thursday as we carried out a Maths Trail in our school yard, spotting lots of Maths in our environment.😀
