We have had a very busy first term! We had an autumn scavenger hunt, looking for signs of autumn in the school grounds. We had an amazing time during Maths week, using lots of resources, having a Maths Hat parade and taking part in a Maths Trail, helped by Sixth Class. We all dressed up for Halloween and had a Spooks Parade in the gym. We said thanks to the Literacy Lift Off Team who gave us such a great start. with their team teaching.

First Class experimented with magnets and discovered what materials attract magnets. They predicted and tested a range of materials and had lots of fun in the process.

Maths Week was lots of fun. We played maths games, did a maths quiz webinar and guessed how many sweets were in the jar. 6th Class brought us on a 2d shape trail in the yard. We showed our maths hats in the maths hat parade in the hall on Friday.

First Class went on an autumn nature trail and collected fallen leaves to make print art.
